Night #2 in the single bed in the spare room, because my new furniture didn't arrive and has been delayed (a week!). Poor Penny cried for 10 minutes, howled actually, outside the door. She is one unhappy camper. 😾 #catsofbluesky #CatsOfBlueSky

So I am a big fan of the board game Sequence where Jacks are special. We have an automatic shuffler and usually put the cards through 3x. I dealt myself 5 Jacks and then I picked up two. What are the chances?

Ok, step 1, put the "box spring" together. This is all I've received from my order. The rest of the furniture was supposed to be here yesterday. The mattress is supposed to be today.

This is not a usual site in our neighbourhood. Only roaming kitty in the area is Jordy and I know where he lives. This one has been showing up off and on, no collar. Looks well though, so only worried cuz it's outside in this frigid -12°C weather! 🥶

Well, we've gone from a complete thaw and 12°C to a foot of snow and -18°C overnight. There's a bunch of shoveling in my future. The plow just made it worse.❄️❄️☃️

Happy birthday Jimmy the Cat, rescued from a feral colony in 2019 when his age was estimated at 3yo and the shelter assigned him this birthday. If they're right he's now 10(ish). We'll never know why he ended up there already neutered and declawed 😠 but he has been a joy since Day 1 here.

So I am lucky to have 3 kitties who don't bother with the tree. However, Jimmy is obsessed with tape, Finn with ribbons, and Penny's favorite toy is a Christmas bow.
