Also to be fair there are a lot of people who live in the Montbello/Green Valley Ranch part of the city for whom DIA represents a fairly accurate picture of their weather. But I, who live west of I-25, often have different weather. Is my specific preference more important than theirs?

Then we get into some further interesting questions. Downtown and the east side of the city have, on average, less snow than the higher altitude/closer to the mountains west side of the city. Is your preference an average across all zip codes of the metro? Across all weather stations of the metro?
