New video! Tutorial, playthrough, & review for Northwest, a fantastic abstract strategy game. The reprint & expansion Kickstarter launches today. This was not a sponsored video - I volunteered to help the designer/ publisher (super nice people!) spread the word about their game. 😊

The Animal Kingdom expansion for Earth adds adorable animeeples, a bit of asymmetry, and additional scoring opportunities without adding much in the way of complexity - exactly what I want in an expansion!

We finally got Cytosis to the table, and wow! I was confident it was going to be a good game, but it surprised me by how cleverly the science was integrated into the mechanisms without getting in the way of the gameplay. It's a solid worker placement game we all enjoyed!

Inaugural post! 🎉

I have two new videos for a game I've been a bit obsessed with lately - HYVE!

HYVE is a puzzly print & play worker placement game where you roll dice (worker bees) to simulate the workings of a bee hive, complete with bee bread, royal jelly, and nectar!
