5 years ago, my little buddy Kai was born. He’s wild, stubborn, smart, independent, and I love him more than anything. He has the day off preschool thanks to Election Day (Go Vote!) so we’re spending it together by hanging out and picking out his cake later. Happy birthday son!

I learned today that this piece of art, which I found on a high profile gaming website is not official at all. It’s fan art by someone named thduplus. But man it FEELS so authentic. Like THIS is official and I can sense no difference. It’s super impressive.

I've hit the big 4-0 today! Honestly doesn't feel like it. But while tonight's stream will be a normal one (starting Mega Man Battle Network 1!), I will be hosting a fun little sub-a-thon to celebrate this Saturday! It's a marathon playthrough of Xenogears which I haven't played since its release!

The sub goals include playthroughs of the Xeno games I've never beaten, namely the Xenosaga...saga. There are also other bonuses to celebrate the parts of Xeno I've never experienced before. I think it should be a lot of fun, especially if you missed out on this landmark RPG!

Kai likes to use my laptop for Microsoft Paint on occasion. Usually it's to type out his letters and numbers but lately he's been doing designs. Had a good laugh when I saw he's so addicted to Bananza that he's recreating the star system for the hardness level.

Just heard about Ozzy passing. Damn that hits hard. Dad played his music constantly and there's so many genuine classics. I got a kick out of seeing him play The Guardian of Metal in Brutal Legend. What a wild life.

Kai has already gotten farther than me in DK. He is very happy to get his pants back. Assist Mode really helps him when it comes to guidance. I’ve also never seen him inhale dinner so quickly to get right back to the game.

Picked up my copy of DK Bananza from Costco at the cheaper price! Now to decide whether I should finish cleanup in Shadow Labyrinth or jump right in to DK.
