I think even he will stand back and decline to help.

We're lost and rudderless. Babatunde needs us to have some semblance of an attacking team first. 😂

I turned off and ended up watching Harry Potter instead.

At least he puts up a fight.

I turned off at the 3rd goal and didn’t look back.

I have seen this group of players better than this. Much better.

I wonder the Tottenham landscape asking myself how we’ve become so bad.

Not for the first time - or Spence.

You'll be pleasantly surprised with the PC's performance, that's for certain.
November 23, 2025 at 2:29 PM
For the record, the PC is also all AMD.
November 23, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Oh - absolutely. I've yet to see Big Picture Mode. 😉

I think I was referring more to the backend configuration done by the Bazzite guys and gals - and it's working awfully like my SteamDeck now.

And this I like.
November 23, 2025 at 2:20 PM
And Bazzite does exactly this - without any Windows.

With the way Microsoft are going, Windows is going to be no go for a lot of people soon.

Now, see - I bemoaned the 4 pages of A4 - what made that infinitely worse was the 16k RAM pack wobble.

So seeing code on page like that again is akin to digital PTSD. 😂

Non-atomic, but also lacking the Steam Deck-esque configuration sadly.

I'm not usually a Redhat fan - but this is going OK so far.

Don't have ADHD, but I was so laser focused on computers - especially when typing in 4 pages of A4 program - that I may well have been.

Computing just clicked for me the first time I turned that ZX81 on.

Clearly amateur hour though - only 9? Pah!

Once the Vulkan shaders had compiled, it started - and played well - first time on Bazzite. At best graphical resolution too.

Technical users may need to get their head around how the OS works, and what you can and cannot do directly to it.

In some ways that's a blessing, but can be a curse.

Bazzite is an atomised distribution that you cannot directly edit. It's based off Fedora, but has all of the Steam Deck capability (and more) included in the base installation.

I've just installed Wreakreation - a game I could not, for the life of me, get working in Arch.

Sadly I've found it's an almost never ending chase around for fixes and updates - which occasionally ends up with a non-functioning system that needs repair.

I want to be playing - and not fixing - and so I tried @bazzite.gg

And a couple more outliers, I wanted something that could be a desktop/CLI when I needed, but crucially, was able to play my Steam collection of games - and others like Epic, GoG et al.

Initially, I thought Arch could provide that.

Was lucky enough to have my computer lessons at school on BBC Model B's - made me lust for one at home.

The last of my 'youth' computers was a Spectrum+ 128k after WH Smith switched out a failed 48k for me (they had no 48k machines left).
