Mostly 3D printed and laser cut Eurorack enclosures, but also some modules.
Doepfer Wasp hands down. Kind of a love it or hate it kinda thing. Red Dragon is a fun 2nd. Wasp works well for distorted sounds (shameless plug, like my WaveBoy module as the artifacts can nicely drive the waspy sound). Also pairs well with ExpertSleepers' Persephone.

RISCV has caused some drama too. I'd like to think it might avoid this, but being extensible and already having vendor specific stuff, I'm not sure. Would love to know your opinion given your awesome depth and knowledge (both historical and new) of computer ISAs and architecture.

I got some great help on the ATProto Discord. Still didn't solve it but I think I know where to look. Pretty sure my issue is relating to also using a PDS.

Adapter or free wires to jumpers to the breadboard would have been answer yup!

The important question is what are you gonna use it for!? Portastudio 4 tracking? Tape loops? Tape echo? So many possibilities!

Awesome work! Thank you for all you do!

Condensed things a little further:

80..FF: Payload Start & CV config
Bit 7: 1 (Indicates Start/Config)
Bit 6-5: CV Resolution
00: 7-bit Signed
01: 15-bit Signed
10: 31-bit Signed
11: 63-bit Signed
Bit 4-0: Number of CVs, 1-32
00..7F: Data (Number depends on CV and resolution)

It's a bit pricey but the MAX13223E IC has wrong-wiring protection (up to 70V) and 250kbps speed. Might be a worthy contender.

Our WB is close :) The ring buffer size is adjusted via the encoder though. The sample-rate is on the pitch knob. The two are correlated which makes things a bit confusing at first, but it's a really fun delay to use.

Yep that's what I use in the TurboWave to navigate 3.3V and 5V. RS232 ICs might be an option too. Cheapest I found from quick Mouser search was $0.89 (though it only runs at up to 120kbps).

Yep worth some thought. On the pro, this happens with MIDI and it seems to do ok at much lower speed that we can probably run at with modern UARTs. 1mbit is 30x the speed of MIDI, e.g.

The 0xFF-as-clock admittedly only works as well as the known number of CVs.
