speaking vulgarly here but I was grateful that they dropped the literal "life is worth living" line in the penultimate episode and then capped the series off with a look at just dull, breathless, and unresolved life actually is

leans into the "mechanical" shonen worldbuilding structure without committing to explaining every nuance, with the assumption that said nuances will morph as the series develops, drops the mystery box pretense halfway through, and effortlessly dilates time without disrupting continuity

common responses hinge on that "I didn't understand any of this nonsense!!" "actually the show is thematically blatant if you're not a child" dichotomy but, taking as fact that said themes are simple (and make the strictly allegorical chapters rather flat), was really impressed by the brisk pushes

use hugo! there's plenty of frameworks where you won't have to touch anything but markdown (zonelets is probably even easier)

congrats! I would recommend hugo but it looks like you've already found your template of choice. not sure what it's attached to but would def recommend any static site generator to make article management easier

I'm glad people still find community on the site but, like the rest of these sites, at some point the contradictions grind together too obnoxiously and you have to start planning your escape route lol. there's a reason why multiple generations of users have left the site by this point!

I have a lingering thought in my mind that, if there's actually a major influx of minors running around on the site, the best way to safeguard them is to basically nuke the review side altogether. but that's also a real "pulling up the ladder behind me" sentiment lol

for better or for worse the review side of backloggd is completely auxiliary to the logging side. I don't even really know what to say beyond that.

unfortunately I will be back for the portable game so I can enjoy that sweet, sweet blast dash again

I feel similar, if a game isn't an all-timer for me then I invariably fall off on the 1cc grind
