I was watching Trespasses recently and we were talking about how normal it felt at the time to live through ‘The Troubles’ (what a euphemism!). My post-GFA daughter views it like another planet. Thankfully.

I just think we underestimate the impact. And player and manager will never offer it as an excuse, rightly so, but it’s there as a constant.

Like feeling guilty when you were having a laugh and a mess around. Being aware that a random act can kill you, no matter how young and full of life you are. How unimportant the previously important things were 🤷‍♀️
