Although no one is really meant to hear them, all of Wise’s melodies have lyrics, he said. “ ‘Aquatic Ambiance’ was inspired by a recently failed relationship,” Wise said. “As much as I’d wanted the relationship to work — I always felt as though I was drowning.”
