E. Idaho immigration attorney and liberal Mormon.
I'm assuming they pronounce it "Fog" much like John Boehner pronounces his name "Bayner."

The most recent season of X-Files had a clever episode with almost no dialogue that kind of explored this issue (Season 11 Episode 7)

I mean, it's apparently fine at university football stadiums. I went to law school at Cinci and didn't see any of that bigotry against Mormons there, but then again I never attended a football game there either.

I'm not excusing their behavior--just pointing out that there are far fewer members there than in most other big U.S. cities and universities.

It's easy to "other" people you've never met, and there are very few members of the church in Cincinnati. There are 53,000 students at the University of Cincinnati, no institute, and the singles ward there is very small (or at least it was 15 years ago, when I lived there).

My office goes through a lot of paper so I've got a monster printer for those purposes, but the one next to my desk since I started in 2011 has always been a Brother. Definitely the best.

My only experience flying with a suit was my mission, and I speak from experience when I say wearing a suit during a six-hour delayed layover in Houston in July, while wearing a suit, sucks.

Yeah, their 90s stuff is all fantastic. I love Wake of Magellan. Handful of Rain and Dead Winter Dead are similar.

Saw a guy with a Queensryche t-shirt and I'm like "so, you're a Savatage fan" and we struck up a conversation about obscure metal bands and about how almost no one else at the show knows TSO was originally a Savatage side project.

She's conservative. That's the backstory.

Eh, it's not like this is a letter to the editor. The writer (because calling her a journalist gives her too much credit) is an employee and editor at DN.

Not sure the Epstein files will have the impact we're hoping for. Certainly not the impact a full-blown recession will have (and we're headed there) unless they reveal Trump did something even worse than statutory rape.

I bought my house in 2011 and I have three kids--two of them teenage boys. Monthly grocery bills are definitely higher than my mortgage.

What happens in mid-to-late 2026? (Elections. That's what happens.)

If they've been granted asylum they're good to stay even without a green card, but it would still be a crappy thing to deny them the green card process. And the current travel ban is doing a lot of damage to a lot of families.

Joy. My Afghanistan clients who got asylum due to their work alongside the U.S. military and are now applying for green cards will just love this.

Both the county I live in and the county I work in? Yuck yuck yuck.

I mean, I guess both J. Reuben Clark and Clarence Thomas were accused of similar inappropriate behavior, but still...
