Stop blaming refugees and migrants, stop blaming "foreigners", stop blaming the people of colour who work for our NHS. My colleagues are here to save your arse, not kiss it or accept your racist abuse.
My great-uncle Jimmy died in 1945 fighting nazi's, he didn't vote for them.

And the nurses catching it as a direct consequence and being off sick.

My OH has cystic fibrosis, and is classed as clinically extremely vulnerable, but he doesn't qualify.
It's disgusting that he can't get it when COVID would make him very ill and highly likely to need a hospital admission.

I have nurse friends who have worked/work there.
They go because the salary is huge (compared to the UK), if you're a white Westerner. If you're from the Philippines, Africa or India, you're deliberately paid less.
It's painted as glamorous, but it's far from it.
