Because of increased temperature of air, polar ice is melting more rapidly. The polar vortex, which used to swirl around the North Pole & hold cold there, is weakened and cold air streams to the south. Many other weather events change seemingly unpredictably. But these can be anticipated by science.

Some don't know that methane & toxic volatile organic compounds, like benzene, leak from compressor stations, storage tanks & other parts of this infrastructure. I agree. This should be a given, for decades past.
