Me, an idiot, a fool, a complete dingus: “wow this episode is clearly ending and it didn’t make me cry my eyes out sure hope that nothing happens in the next several minutes that breaks my heart!”

If you can't find us that way, if your podcast app has a place where you can manually type in an RSS feed address, you can copy our feed address from the Libsyn page and paste it into the podcatcher if your choice.

We do not get money from people listening to us anywhere, Spotify or otherwise. I have never heard of Deezer before, but you should be able to find our RSS feed on basically any podcast app that has a search function.

All of this is just to say, in case there was any doubt, we here at Binary Break do not support AI generated trash, and if you are someone who listens to our show, I would hope that would not be something that needs to be said out loud. And yet, here we are. Thank you for your time.

We considered responding by explaining the difference between fan art/fan fiction and AI generated slop, but at that point in time, it was pretty obvious that no productive conversation was going to follow any response we gave, so we blocked them and moved on.

This message was, of course, predicated by everyone's dear friend, the "🤣" emoji.

However, they doubled down, accused of not being able to take the moral high ground, because we are making stuff based on properties we don't own, and clarified that they are not a kid, but in fact, older than everyone on this podcast.

After all, what self-respecting adult would post AI art of their digimon OC rather than poorly drawing it themselves using lined paper and/or MS paint, as it should be? We figured this could be a chance to give someone an opportunity to learn a lesson and become a better person.

At first, we considered an immediate block, but then figured this was probably just some dumb impatient teenager who didn't know better, and as you probably know from listening to this show, we here at Binary Break have a tremendous amount of compassion for dumb teenagers who make poor decisions.

We DM'ed the listener who posted it, told them our feelings about AI art (it's stealing from actual human artists, destroying the planet, etc) and asked them to take it down and not post AI art again, or else we would block them.
