We have plenty of politicians across all three levels of government, they just need to focus on their areas of responsibility. In Wagga Wagga Michael McCormack is more interested in the dog track than foreign policy.

Can we get the description correct please @australia.theguardian.com , the intending candidate is a community independent, at the last election she polled 2nd after the former leader of the Liberal Party. Lazy descriptions, like Teal candidate are misleading & wrong.

Australia has a lot more in common with the Indian population than most other countries. Foremost that we have had an unpleasant period of 'British' rule. Something Australia should do something about, soon.

I am sure that even the vacuous Jane knows that nuclear will never become a power source in Australia. It is a very easy way of distracting the attention from their lack of credibility in other areas. They are given too much oxygen for their very low numbers in parliament.
