I started Billy Lifestyle bc as I was going through my motherhood journey, finding humorous parenting content made me feel less alone. It made me realize that I was normal. That most moms go through what I go through. & that motherhood is hard. And admitting that fact doesn't have to lead to guilt.

As a newish mom letting go of parts of myself has been hard, but the pieces I’ve kept are stronger and clearer than ever. My son is shaping me as much as I’m shaping him.

Toddler tantrum of the day: 45 minutes of screaming bc he wanted Yoggies (yogurt probiotics) which he already had for the day. I gentle parented hard. It didn’t stop the screaming. He is pretty cute though.

I have always loved public libraries, but having young children has exponentially increased my gratitude and sense of indebtedness to them. Our local library is such a huge part of our lives. The books, the programming, the very intentionally curated kids’ section. It’s all such a gift.
