I really wouldn’t be surprised if he is still part of the team ane refusing to comment on something that should be a yes or no is odd.

I find it telling that is is less common is areas where there are more tourists.
I have always noticed that Zwarte Piet seems pretty common in rural areas or at CX races not in cities, and then it isn't super common when you get to really touristy areas.

Just a concrete turn, up a kerb, in to stairs in the first 30 seconds of a race to me doesn't feel a great choice.
It really spreads the race out, but that just punishes riders with bad gridding
Plus I don't think it's actually allowed by the UCI, not that the UCI care

The past 2 or 3 seasons it's impossible to find any races, the highlights are rushed and not really highlights. Whilst I can watch most of the 2013 season or all the 2018 World Cup
