Rational views, based on truth and science. Brexit was a lie. Proponent of free movement. Mini cars rock. No DM's
A public apology would require brave politicians. That, unfortunately, is in short supply.

Never come across a president more reliant on foreign spokespersons rather than his own intelligence service for accurate data.

Maybe lawyers and prosecutors are victims!!!! Or maybe the justice dept is full of shit
December 23, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Good god, that's pretzel level stupidity.
December 18, 2025 at 10:20 PM
This is exactly why I say that undoing the Brexit shambles will take a generation.
December 18, 2025 at 8:59 AM
Roomba, not Room. Good god we need an edit button.
December 17, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Room a was never a robot. It is a bounce around mini vacuum. It's as far from robotic as a bicycle is from a Mac truck.

Whatever he says, it won't be true, it won't be good and it won't make the average American's life any better. You can take that to the bank.

Are you referring to a number, which of course would be higher, or the relationship between wage/pension and actual cost of living?
December 16, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Completely agree.

Pundit is correct. Despite any desire on the part of Spanish/UK negotiators, Schengen rules would have to be changed, which is a much larger, and longer discussion. Don't book your flight just yet.

There is check on his actions by both the legislature and SC. Both branches have abdicated that responsibility for fear of their own petty power and fortune. Sure, a lot of past norms now need to be codified for fear of future bad behaviour. But if the system is corrupt it needs radical changes.

Wow, I guess tourism is a thing of the past

Hesselden's problem, although not confined to him, is that he believes Brexit was wrong. Ok, I agree, but he still wants EU privilege while not in EU. Doesn't make sense. It's like the present government changing tax rules and saying, "we'll I didn't vote for you so I will use the old tax rules".
December 12, 2025 at 10:53 AM
While it's a small step in right direction, it's not going to change the economic situation. Until that's addressed everything else is window dressing.
December 11, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Me too. I was doing a Trump ketchup thing when I got the "sorry old chap, you've been away from blighty for too long". Very very unfair.
December 10, 2025 at 9:45 AM
This chart is exactly why I still say Brexit requires a generational change.

Modern diplomacy has deteriorated into either saying something nasty, or capitulation. We need a new breed of skilled wordsmiths, able to articulate an argument while simultaneously telling the other side they are stupid, and they thank you for it.
December 9, 2025 at 1:55 PM
It was rigged.
December 7, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Hey Elon, guess what. It's none of you effing business. But I guess you are just pissed that you got fined, again.
December 7, 2025 at 12:12 AM
For the love of god, will the rest of Labour leadership listen to this guy.
December 5, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Proof is in the pudding, as they say.
December 5, 2025 at 10:04 AM
Banter born of beliefs.
December 5, 2025 at 10:02 AM
Nobody should be surprised, Farage has displayed racist, bigoted behaviour for years.
