KWS is Epic Games / Tim Sweeney, which if anything should make you trust it even less.

Fortunately this is a federated platform and other clients are available.

Threads does have a limited ActivityPub implementation. It's not seen much use from either users or Meta as far as I've seen.

A carve out for just those with a physical disability would still cut of their circle any peers without one.

It’s going to be a big impact on isolated kids generally. Remote, or even just outer urban and disadvantaged families who may not have the time and resources to shuttle kids to social events
