This is like hyper focusing on iPod sales for Apple. Most car companies don't realize that autonomy will decrease demand, it's stupid to grow that part of the company with what's coming

Traditional cars are dead. Legacy auto should be trying to fold up operations gracefully things are going to get worse with robotaxis. People won't need their own cars all the critics of Tesla as a "car company" will wat their words

By focusing on the good of humanity Elon has realized the next markets humanity needs and that has made making money easy to him even though he doesn't care about that

Pope you probably don't even get invited to parties, Elon can go to any of them he wants

How is Biden doing these days? We should get an update wonder if he can tie his own shoes
November 23, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Let me put it this way, while you and I are sitting here loafing around on the internet, Elon is producing the elementary teachers of tomorrow there will be millions of them maybe even one per student and they will be free. The current teachers will be free in another sense to do whatever they want
November 22, 2025 at 5:24 PM
And he has employed over 100K people. Elementary teachers are MAINTAINERS of society. I have enormous respect for them but Elon is driving society forward in a way that is much much bigger than their pay gap. And he is going to make it so they get basic income with optimus

The military has always valued free speech above all

It didn't even mention the size of the caskets? That's pretty important factor child sized is a lot less lumber, ChatGPT is really overrated don't know why you would use anything but grok in 2025
November 20, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Billions went into making Grok from first principles be maximally truth seeking. If you don't like what it says that says a lot more about you than it does about Grok.

everybody and thats why they're willing to burn their own business to make sure they win.

IMO there are a lot of people like @edzitron.com and the enshittification guy who are burying people's heads in the sand with their optimism that AI isn't going to be very good at everyone's jobs and soon.
November 19, 2025 at 2:24 AM
They were happy to keep running their monopoly but these AI companies started spawning off of them and threatening them with what some of them think is the disruption of pretty much everything.

People keep downplaying AI but this isn't just coming for journalists. Google thinks it's replacing

Openai lost its edge when it got rid of it's founder. That's not googles competition, xai is which has started way later and dominates the benchmarks already every release
