Primary all of those who are running with serious candidates.

If we don’t know who to trust then our safest bet is to consider none of them trustworthy.

I think they will get their senate vote. I think they will follow through on that promise.

But it will die in the house. And if for some reason it doesn’t it will die from Trumps veto stamp.

Even if they get everything they asked for nothing substantial will come of it.

I‘m sure the people struggling to pay to stay alive right now will appreciate they get to see “who is standing for them” with their last breaths.

Fuck these people.
November 10, 2025 at 11:35 PM
I saw we move forward assuming all of them are in the “allowed to“ group.

Unless they are PUBLICLY demanding those eight by name be censured, removed from the party, removed from leadership and pressured to resign we should consider them complicit.
November 10, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Does your party know they had a upswell of support which has been decimated by these actions and isn’t coming back?

The demands should have been more - abolish ICE, recall the guard, reinstate USAID and then negotiate from there. Their initial offer was far to low and they still failed to get it.
November 10, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Our master negotiators got us an unwritten promise to vote on ACA funding in the Senate. So then Johnson can sit on it in the house or Trump can veto it.

Is it clear to everyone yet that congressional dems are not allies? Given the 8 are not vulnerable seats, they are drawing fire for many more.
November 10, 2025 at 9:44 PM
I hope so. I don't have a lot of confidence they will, but the party needs to pay a price.

Not just those eight. It's not a coincidence they found the right number of votes from their least vulnerable senators. The bulk of them are complicit in this and letting them take the fall.

We need a purge.
November 10, 2025 at 7:50 PM
This will continue until we all realize we have to do the work ourselves.

The Dems are not up for this fight. We are starting to look like Charlie Brown and the football when we trust them.

No donations. No volunteers. No calls. No attending. It’s time to admonish the Dems until they step up.
November 10, 2025 at 7:46 PM
Voters may have said that.

What did the Dems say? From out here they look more like GOP enablers than a resistance party.

There is zero chance those eight went off on their own. The party took their least vulnerable seats and had them take the bullet for the rest of them.
November 10, 2025 at 7:42 PM
How about fighting your eight peers who feel they are smarter than the rest of you and the American people?

We need you fighting them too. Demand new leadership. Remove them from the party. Censure them. Demand resignations.

You lose all momentum if this goes down with a whimper.

100% on the money. The 8 who felt safest connived to protect the rest of the caucus, especially Schumer. The others would have voted along with the Republicans but they knew it would cost them their jobs. These people represent the interests of their wealthiest donors, not ours.
November 10, 2025 at 4:11 PM
They are never getting another cent from me, and the only time they will get time from me are a few minutes in the polling booth.

If we are even able to do that again.

It would have been better to capitulate immediately. This is just embarrassing and is the biggest gift they could give Trump.
November 10, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Weak.

We want their political heads. Removal from leadership positions. Removal from the party. Censure. Demands for resignation.

Do not treat them like peers.

If the Dems do not have it in them to eat their own for the good of the country this war is lost. And it’s obvious they do not.
November 10, 2025 at 6:45 PM
It should be towards all Dems.

They did not do enough to reign these eight in. They should be threatening Schumers leader position. Threatening to remove all of them from the party and demanding their resignation.

What we’ve seen so far is lip service. Many are silent. More than 8 are complicit.
November 10, 2025 at 6:41 PM
They may allow the vote to tell people the upheld their end of the bargain.

But then even if it passes it would have to pass the house where Johnson will never bring it up for a vote.

And if for some reason it passes that, Trump will veto it. And they will never get 2/3.

They got nothing.
November 10, 2025 at 6:24 PM
The Dems really screwed this one up.

All of them.

They failed to keep their party in line.

If they aren’t admonishing and calling for party removals and resignations they are complicit.

I’m done supporting them. I’m going to double my efforts and the food bank and will ignore them going forward.
November 10, 2025 at 6:22 PM
The other dems really need to open up an investigation into these eight to determine their motives and if they are compromised.

They also need to remove them from the party and demand their resignations daily. Stop treating them as peers. These eight should be treated like dog crap on our shoes.
November 10, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Right on the heels of the Dems handing him a Senate victory on a golden platter.

I'm just going to put my head down and do more hours at my local food bank as they are worth the time.

Why are people still looking to the Dems for help? It's been a year, y'all don't get it yet?
November 10, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Well that turned out to be incorrect.

Now do you have the guts to publicly admonish your peers who did this until they leave public life with their tails between their legs.

You need to start investigations into the motives of these eight. Remove them from the party. Force their resignations.
November 10, 2025 at 2:53 PM
This is exactly why I haven't hitched my wagon to Indivisible.

It's not a resistance group.

It really behaves more like a progressive dem PAC with no teeth.

If they really want to be the top resistance group in the US maybe they should read some Chenoweth, Popovic, Sharp, etc.
November 10, 2025 at 2:11 PM
They wouldn’t have done this without others agreeing to watch their backs.

We need to demand all the other senators publicly admonish these eight and their actions.

Then we add all of those who refuse to the list of those who need primary opponents.

We win by pitting dems against each other.
