Absolutely. And there’s some really fun stuff in Katabasis (the characters get into a brief argument with the ghost of GE Moore!) but it never goes below the surface, IMO

Babel has some very fun stuff in it but it really doesn’t quite cohere into anything nearly as good as it promises to be; Katabasis has even more of that problem, I think
