It's not my job to argue in favour of the government's policy, it's theirs. Whether we disagree or not the fact remains that there was a positive (potentially effective) argument the government could have made and they simply didn't. That's more of a problem than what happens with this one policy.

Obviously Palantir can get fucked but I think your view is not uncommon and the government could have made a convincing argument about convenience, data security, and efficiency savings that would have been very compelling. They didn't. They used it to bash migrants instead and convinced nobody.

I don't agree with the whole article. I don't think it is 13 u-turns, it's a whole bunch of minor course corrections and a couple of u-turns, nor do I think u-turns are inherently bad. This was a good policy though and could have been so easy and shows the government can't/won't do much of anything.

I used to like the cartoon and the odd comic. I read them occasionally for a little while and then forgot about it for a decade or two until he popped up on Twitter. Of course then I'd never say a good word about him or his works while he was alive. Dead now though innit. 🎉

I also dislike Starmer but your comment is not an accurate representation of what he says in this statement. Change "explicit" to "implicit" maybe but your post as it is comes across like you're trying to mislead people. Given your platform and how many people trust you, could you reword this?

It is. I haven't done much gaming on it but it's great for video editing. It has three inputs and I've connected two of them to the same computer so it can do picture-by-picture and then it's like having two 1440p monitors. That's how I use it most of the time.

If you show you're willing to use AI to generate a header image I have no reason to assume you won't also use AI to generate the text.
