do a breath test to tell you if you have a slow/fast/normal metabolism and they calculate your BMR and TDEE based off of it instead if the generic online calculator formulas. it’s so helpful especially if you have factors like low muscle mass, low bone mass, etc bs online calculators don’t take that

The company I did mine with was Composition ID, it tells you how much of your body weight is fat vs muscle but highly accurate and detailed bc it’s done with a CT scan (they tell you lean muscle, free fat, and each percentage based on each section of your body so like left/right/top/bottom) and they

if it makes you feel better i eat about that, i have borderline hyPERthyrodism, and i lose like 1.5lbs a month 🫩 some months i lose nothing. i think muscle mass has something to do with it bc i have basically zero muscle mass so my bmr is probably a lot lower than what is calculated smh
