I’m in favor of very limited LLM integration to add variety to procedurally generated elements and voice lines— while paying the voice actors per generated line at a rate comparable to what they’d have gotten had they recorded it.
Nobody's clamouring for AI games, nobody's mad that games don't feature AI, there's a total and utter lack of demand for it. The only demand is from business heads who think it'll save them money, audiences and creatives are rejecting it.

I’m in favor of very limited LLM integration to add variety to procedurally generated elements and voice lines— while paying the voice actors per generated line at a rate comparable to what they’d have gotten had they recorded it.
If humanity is on an inexorable path to a classless, stateless society then it’s less like history is pushing towards a communist future than the communist future is pulling on history. In which case an accounting of the “victims of communism” would include everyone who’s ever lived

The thing that excites me the most about getting out from under these back rent payments- other than housing security and being able to buy things instead of service debt- is having the space to start to align the financial institutions I use with my ideology. No more PayPal and Chase

Six more weeks of “two rent payments every month” and then I’m free from losing 80% of every check to rent. I’ll have some amount more income than fixed expenses! In the mean time, I think my phone is going to get turned off Wednesday, and food is going to be… please halp:

“(Marxist)” is not really negotiable. Need to commit to some kind of study or reading group. The conditions at this place, in this department, are genuinely unique, and there’s real potential here. Need someone serious— willing to take risks, make and keep commitments.
Spot just opened up at my job. $34/hr, union. I’d be willing to be reference for the right person (Marxist, socially competent). Won’t lie, though. In Minneapolis, but frankly is worth relocating for if you’re not tied down. “Last job you’ll ever have” type of thing.
