Gen z gives me hope. My oldest asked if I would join her in choosing from the Salvation Army Angel Tree, a child to buy Christmas gifts for. It is a hot tiktok trend right now. We both chose a kid and bought their list. 🥰 Her roomie is volunteering at a soup kitchen tomorrow.

Glide Memorial Church in SF is the epitome of Christian values. Everyone is invited to attend. Their pastor wore a tuxedo jacket and tulle skirt to their big gala last week. They deserve all my money as they feed 650 people every day.

Tacos are also great. If you get store bought corn tortillas, just heat them right on the flame to get soft and throw them in a clean tea towel. Add some fresh jalapeno, onion and salt and a little vinegar to cranberries for a thanksgiving salsa.

It isn't just the anti-vax morons with the children but everyone driving down herd immunity to dangerous levels. My kids school was closed in the early 00s for an outbreak with low vax rates. Luckily, no one died, but even some of us who were vaccinated caught whooping cough.
