The usual low price tag also plays into this. Not being Free to Play means you know you are not getting a “service” game. And easy to buy for a friend :)

Might be a bit far fetched so say they will sell off the games studios, but not impossible.
The press release talks way too much about sports to not have that be a major play for the deal. Likely some tech+sports thing going to happen. Like tennis and golf rn.
