That reminds me. Your name is almost but not quite the same as perhaps the most influential Irish political leader of the 19th century, Daniel O'Connell. The main street in Dublin is named for him, as is this gathering space in a pub next door to our hotel.

We had to shoo the neighbors' chickens out of the backyard after my husband filled the holes under the fence. The smaller ones perched on the front porch before heading home.
