Grad school itself is … fine I guess. Talking about it is only tolerable if you’re actually doing it. Why do white people especially want everyone to know they’re considering doing it, earnestly or as a joke? No one thinks that grad school is a thing smart people do anymore we can let it go

I’m telling you, the white fascination with grad school - both in theory and in reality - and particularly the tic of musing about it openly, loudly, in public, is absolutely 1000% obnoxious, everyone hates it I’m only telling you what everyone else is too afraid to say
