I think the issue being articulated is that if it requires moderation, then why are we growing things past the point where they can be moderated. I think the fear you're articulating is that it would be easy to over-require moderation. But I think there's gotta be a sweet spot.

Trans person here. TERF ideology comes from the same place as SWERF ideology. The idea that men's gaze are damaging the purity of women. They see trans women as fetish having men, and they use anti porn sentiment as a foot in the door. Porn being pervasive is not inherently harmful, patriarchy is.
