Personally, too, I am so over purity politics, and that's what I love about him. He ain't willing to throw folks under the bus like (Newsom) but he is willing to work with (some not perfect) others to achieve his goals. You can be pragmatic with integrity.

I am hoping he charms Ackman into funding some of this stuff. Why not? So long as there are no strings. And sort of like Trump, B Ackman just wants to feel heard/be seen as important.

My one critique is that ZM should have made this point more. He is not going to Cuba, Russia, or Venezuela but Finland, baby! Free healthcare, the highest happiness index in the world, and tons of saunas (ok, he did not promise free and widely available saunas, but he should have)

It's like he is simply reaching for what is the norm in much of Europe, which, last I checked, is a fully capitalist society with some guard fucking rails, unlike the US, which is full on rapacioius capitalism, only good for the few

Nah, people act like he’s wanted to plot a Cuban revolution. Nope. Plank was always more like Nordic socialism: regulate the market, don’t torch it. Rent stability, free daycare, cheaper food, city groceries. He’s clever, not capitalist-pilled, and pragmatic about allies.

The are quite good. I miss shortbread cookies, and it's not easy to find GF versions. Now onto potato-teff dinner rolls.

Now you have liberal pundits, like Jessica Lucas, questioning whether mold is as pervasive or problematic simply to take a shot at MAHA. It's empirically and morally suspect. You can be critical of MAHA without tossing aside legitimate concerns www.thecut.com/article/peop...
Mold, Mold Everywhere
The number of Americans claiming they suffer from toxic-mold exposure keeps growing — and so does the list of their symptoms.

Yep, I agree, as I wrote about here where I support many of their aims just not the means www.politico.com/news/magazin...
Opinion | How MAHA Is Helping Poison Americans While Claiming to Save Them
The Trump administration’s deregulatory regime is undermining MAHA’s health aims.
