I did, in fact, leave them (eventually). Unfortunately, the laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and other tasks needed to be done today. 🤷‍♂️

I hope so. The town has already declared a "snow emergency" for this weekend. I'm hoping it will actually materialize. We didn't really get any big snowstorms last year, only an inch or so at a time, which was kind of a bummer for our first winter in the midwest.

That's how I felt in Louisiana, too. This is still a whole new experience. It's been nice to have all the seasons this year, though. I definitely prefer it to the sweltering year-round heat.

I'm just waiting for them to fly away at this point. I'm surprised they haven't already with how relentless the wind has been today.

Yeah. We're supposed to get snow this weekend. Then the temps will drop to the teens and single digits. Winter has definitely arrived. 🥶

Yep! I think it was a box of 10 books. 😭 I really hope it starts moving again soon...

I know! I'm hoping it will magically get moving again. That recently happened to a Barnes & Noble order of mine. It didn't move for weeks, and then it randomly appeared at my door after I'd already received the replacements sent by customer service. So, I hope the same thing happens with this box.
