ok so for years he only ever screened this complete version at a specific theater in hollywood, which is why i never ever saw this version, but now that there’s been a national release… surely we get physical media versions… pls… i don’t ask for MUCH
the additional animation in the whole bloody affair cut… i don’t know that i can go back to watching the regular version… can i buy this…

i see this in fandom a lot in the form of a community led project where people are presenting nothing but m/f couples as representation by flinging a bisexual label onto it, but never considering the Optics of those choices.

i think the conversation around this phenomenon is also too focused on people’s personal feelings of invalidation, which is fine to have, but at some point we’re being willfully obtuse about what the actual point of the conversation is

people love to use “and they’re both bi :)” when presenting m/f relationships in media or whatever and it’s like ok i guess but u never talk about any sort of same sex attraction so im not really seeing how this is revolutionary
