Texas, we've taken small and local too far and we're paying for it: in hard earned dollars, in poor reliability, in poor quality, in poor service. If these services were an employee, you'd fire them.

Texas, it's time for a change.

Texas ISD school systems yield poor reading and math scores for graduates. School construction costs double comparable projects in other states. ISD taxes so high they are driving seniors out of their homes - total tax rates more than triple that of other states (including income taxes).

Texas has over 7000 separate water systems - again, too small to design for the resilience of larger scale. Boil Water Notices are almost unheard of throughout most of the country, but in Texas, we see them several times a year and our water prices and MUD taxes are sky high.

Every winter, storms crash fragile power grids for millions of customers. The northern US sees far worse storms without the outages that affect millions when reliable power is life.

Our coops are too small for the redundant systems needed for reliability.

Yet our prices are sky high.
