Every time I tell my husband (our family chef) that whatever he's cooking smells amazing: "It's just onions and garlic." 😅

I moved to a Patreon model thingy MOSTLY BECAUSE now I can just do monthly 'exclusives' for members and not have to fluff around doing all the photograph and making a listing. Now I just keep one listing for the exclusive items and post some quick photos & details for subscribers.

I make so much more stuff that I never bother to sell bc photographing and listing things is like.. my kryptonite. NO ADMIN, ONLY ART.

(A good reason to try to be precise about what we mean by "AI" - LLMs, generative AI, machine learning... I am rabidly anti- AI "art" and "writing" but am willing to say there's probably good use cases for ML stuff in many fields, idk. But "AI" is so poisoned for me now.)

Do you mean the AI expert rating or the public? I think a lot of people who hate AI make an exception for the publicized machine learning tools for, e.g., detecting cancerous spots in xrays and whatnot. I hear the reality of that is kinda mixed, so I am not sure myself.

Oh I really like these boxes! I'm just so short on table space, ugh, I'm already trying to figure out what I can move around to give me more working room. But also I'm in the garage and I don't know how to hang things on the concrete walls.

I'm kinda liking the idea of some sort of clear hanging folders or clear hanging sheet protectors on a pegboard 🤔I could get them up off my workspace but still see them at a glance and find what I need.

(I say ADHD-friendly because I tend to forget about things that I can't see, so I like to use clear containers or storage options that let me keep visual tabs on what I have so I remember to use them. So like.. a clear folder? Clear desk organizer thing? A pegboard with hanging bits?)

I haaaaate it. I hate it when people I otherwise like & respect suggest that qualitative data can just be run through LLMs for analysis. It's wrong *and* personally insulting to me, to the skills I value and think scholars should develop.
