Spectacular visit to the beach this evening. Ocean is roaring again now that it is no longer covered in ice and it pushed in some sea ice to create an impressive landscape. And then there’s the sunset!

Lovely sunset this evening. Still some ice out there but it’s pretty much gone.
Sandy beach dotted with lots of pebbles. Cloudy sky but the orange and yellow of the setting sun can still be seen over the ocean. A small wave curls at the shoreline.

Went back to the beach for sunset. I never thought I’d wear snow pants to the beach so often 😂

It was -2C with 40-60km/hr winds and nobody else was there! They missed out on a great day at the beach!

Slightly blurry mushroom it has an orange cap with what almost looks like light orange sprinkles on top. The stem is light orange and peeled a bit revealing while underneath. It sits among moss and spruce needles.

The fitness watch I got for Christmas just suggested I journal about the walk I took this afternoon. It really does do everything! And it was a nice day to walk to the beach.
