Just heard that the Phoenix hotel in San Fran will be closing. Like many bands, the Betties stayed there as well, having a great time. This is the 1st draft of our song ‘Tell Me, Sad’ that I wrote on their hotel stationery back in October ’93

Throwback Thursday: this promo photo was made by Steve Gullick around 1995 in London. We later ‘cut out’ my arm & used it for our 2nd album called ‘Lamprey’, because we thought it looked like ….. a lamprey. Btw, we had just eaten some ice cream, that’s why Peter and I were wiping our mouths.
