As someone who makes cheesecake and then cuts the leftovers into slices to freeze, I can say unequivocally that there is no reason to wait for your slice of cheesecake to defrost before eating

I hope you told her that while she may be a woman and certainly couldn’t be trusted to run a country, law firm, etc., her personal experience and knowledge of her own limitations shouldn’t be relied upon to set an unfairly low expectation for the capacity of other women.
