Good Trouble. Views Mine.
Would someone remind Congress that we the people pay for their healthcare- benefits that are far superior to any of our benefits? Perhaps if they forgo their benefits, the cuts to Medicaid would be a bit more palatable…

Pharmacies could be important partners for methadone access in our evolving system, but we don’t know if they are likely to dispense it. Here we share that 47.6% of AZ pharmacies -were very likely or somewhat likely to dispense methadone for OUD when permitted.

Trump's candidate for NIH Director, is now defending Peter Duesberg. NO. Scientists don't have to indulge AIDS denialism or Bhattacharya's conspiracy-addled theories on COVID-19. Bhattacharya fancies himself as a new-age Galileo and Fauci the Pope, when JB is just simply wrong and cannot accept it.
In October, Jay Bhattacharya (Trump's NIH pick) wrote an essay "Anthony Fauci: The Man Who Thought He Was Science" and there are many insane parts, but his characterization of Peter Duesberg as a "wunderkind" and target of Fauci's bullying is really something...

We have known for years that HSV-2 is common (1 in 4 people, 1 in 5)…. This should not make us complacent when disclosing an HSV-diagnosis to partners.

Viral shedding continues beyond an outbreak period.

Find the courage (and respect) to protect your partners.
20% of global population may have genital #herpes & there's no vaccine or cure. While it usually causes transient genital sores, the virus (typically HSV-2) doesn't go away & can cause more severe complications. It also makes it easier to catch & transmit #HIV. @who.int

HPV vaccination is a slam dunk for preventing an array of cancers. Australia has nearly ELIMINATED #cervicalcancer with HPV vaccination.

Whatever our politics today, we must stand for prevention. Our lives depend on it.
The difference between HPV and Pap tests can be confusing. This article gives a nice summary and reminds us that HPV vaccination is a GREAT tool to prevent HPV-related cancers! time.com/7176632/what...
