Meanwhile, the regular citizen feels cast out to sea, in rough waters, not sure what is safe. I hope in the long run, we will all learn that our systems are not sustainable & we need a dramatic change in how we live & run society — we need ideas that go way beyond our polarized two party system.

For me, this piece represents all the powers that be, the government, corporations, and religious institutions that often pretend to serve the people, but really protect their own interests and profits (no matter who is in office)….

It seems appropriate to post this now as places in the USA have experienced so much flooding and fire. All seems unknown as insurance companies pull coverage and a shift in government is making big, sweeping changes….
