I want to be part of a political movement so big that my representative knows her political future hinges on keeping us happy, and I want to know that she can safely make compromises as a result that may be unpopular with some without having to worry about the overall end goal not being reached.

The school seems to think I'm a theater major. My kids have begged me to take a world history class so I am going to do that soon. (They are embarrassed by my lack of knowledge of Charlemagne etc. I have a poli sci degree but it is true that I never took world history.)
