Some neighborhood signal groups are so large that they have to kick people out to let new folks in who want to help. New "how can I help" posts on socials every day. Oh, and we literally ran a Nazi out of town. We are scared, but we are also *pissed.*

Can confirm from St Paul. Folks are getting goods to those who can't go out, forming patrols to warn people when ICE is in the area, standing outside of mosques during prayers, at bus stops, outside of schools at drop-off/pick-up times. And protesting in 0 degree weather. (1/2)

Here (and in my profile pic) is Rumplestiltskin. All I know about him is that he was picked up as a stray in northwestern Minnesota when he was about 1.5 yrs old.

Therapist shopping is its own circle of hell, 100%!!

Ugh that sounds awful! A therapist of mine once told me that the research shows that the most important predictor of success in therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and patient. So it's legit to just change therapists!

That's as close as I can get to a comforting thought, too. It leaves rather a lot to be desired.

I strongly believe in doing things because they are fun and not giving two shits whether you do them "well." Good for you!!

My boy's cardiologist told me they don't groom if they aren't feeling well. Having gone through one cat with a heart defect and one with FIP, baths still make me tear up sometimes.

Even better - learn how to do it yourself! Plenty of us still do swing dancing - it's great!
