The true ROI of AI will be judged not by how many prompts you run, but by how little “cleanup” downstream is needed.

“Workslop”: The Hidden Productivity Killer in the AI Era and it doesn’t just waste time — it redistributes hidden cognitive debt.

On a Friday night, watched the movie The Thursday Murder Club on @netflix.com based on a novel of the same name by Richard Osman. Turned out to be a great detective story with twists and turns while the main characters are coping with old age and the people around them. Worth a watch!

A strange irony here: Meta might have pioneered the Open-Source LLM models but now it is the only one while the Chinese open source LLMs such Deepseek, Kimi, Alibaba's Qwen, MiniMax are now dominating the table: artificialanalysis.ai/leaderboards... #AI

Enjoyed the #FantasticFour First Steps as the latest addition to Marvel Cinematic Universe. As a die hard fan, other than bringing Galactus to life, the major deal to seal the fans is to bring Franklin Richards into the MCU. Of course, the surprise is Pedro Pascal as Reed.

#Sandman Season 2 has been a blast starting for the first half with both my favourite volumes: Book 4 - Season of Mists and Book 7: Brief Lives, and the depiction of my favourite endless: Destruction is spot on! Loved the show even though it is going to be 2 seasons!

Completed reading "Apple in China" by Patrick McGee, where my interpretation is that it tells the history of contract manufacturing from Apple's POV. Highly recommend the book, and one more thing, Patrick will be coming to @analyse.asia #podcast as a guest. :) Read his book: appleinchina.com

Watched #Thunderbolts last Wednesday—easily one of the stronger MCU entries. Its focus on mental health and second chances makes the characters more relatable. Feels like a standalone film, yet still sets up the next two movies. Really solid, awesome watch.

Politicians often fight the current battle like the last one, relying on past success. What they miss is that circumstances change. The majority of eligible voters (including mine) this time in #Singapore don’t respond well to threats. #GE2025 (see graph below)

Observing the #GE2025 in #Singapore, I am curious about how many people watched the rallies via 1 channel: YouTube and I take a snapshot at 5 am 26 April to see how all the rallies posted on 2 channels: @CNA and @straits_times

I followed Scott Alexander with his blog: Astral Codex Ten and just realized that he has teamed up with Daniel Kokotajlo, Thomas Larsen, Eli Lifland and Romeo Dean to come up with a forecast of how #AI will evolve towards 2027, with two scenarios: slowdown or race.

#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld surprised me as a great movie & the score by critics from Rotten Tomatoes does not match with what I saw in the movie.

Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie were great in the show. For me, it was worthwhile to watch on Valentine's Day with my wife.
