Some day my goofs will be worthy of a dollar a month, I just know it.
Ignoring the stuff about No Country for Old Men, ambiguity is crucial specifically to the point of several films like Blade Runner and The Thing…two movies that lots of other dullards like to say they’ve “solved” by eliminating that ambiguity so some of this shit is just how it goes.
What's going on on that other website?

This is going to sound like a mean joke but seeing the results of several choices in #Dispatch I was genuinely shocked that such a high percentage of gamers would be able to maturely navigate awkward interpersonal moments using social cues, etiquette, and common sense.

Another Coca Cola Freestyle machine removed from a local fast foodery, the recession continues.

Has anyone made the original Doom into a looter shooter? You know, as a joke? I see roguelikes exist.

Rewatched Brigsby Bear last night and it’s easily still one of my favorite movies from 2017.

YouTube algorithm is a little over tuned. If I listen to a 1 (one) official song/music video instead of one stolen by a random person my ENTIRE suggested page is just more official tracks.

I have to delete the song from my watch history to get anything else.

Is there something the French can do with typical American fair? Like bearnaise sauce chicken wings or maybe scallop French fries au gratin or maybe a French onion chili?

Played D&D and admittedly it was a silly idea to eat a piece of food from inside of a magic painting but I didn’t think a module written after the 2010s would have an outcome like “you drop to 0 hit points and explode”

Read a blogpost that was exactly as well written in the thought provoking sense as it was poorly written in basic readability sense of punctuation, grammar, spelling, formatting etc

Absolutely stretching “the content of the piece matters, not whether it’s technically legible” to the breaking point.

A terrible moment is when you start following someone and you go from “oh they just have a few quirky opinions about movies/TV/music/etc.” to “no they actually have appalling taste.”

My service to my followers is to try and make that switch as quick as possible. Rip off the bandaid.

Dispatch is going to be in the running for the best TV show I played all year.

A properly modernized GameCube controller is the only design that can give the Unofficial Xbox Standard Shape a run for its money.
I just wanted to take a picture of my gamecube controller because I like it

I am wary about the Netflix/WB merger BUT it was nice of Zazlav to soften the blow by basically destroying the company before the sale.

Things can always get worse but it's not like Netflix is/was to blame for cancelling animation as a concept itself or doing the stupid HBO rebrand and retreat.

Personally, I like video games. If you don't like video games I would not recommend dedicating most of your professional career to making or talking about them.

*This* close to putting the individual words “games” “video” and “art” on the muted words tab. That will wipe out a fairly significant number of innocuous posts but that’s a price I’m willing to pay.

My phone finally updated to iOS 26 and having seen a lot of screenshots and people’s complaints I feel fairly inoculated against the changes. That said, I find the new more realistic camera icon to be a bit confronting.

I doubt that Starfleet Academy show is going to be worse than Picard so everyone can calm down a bit.

Remember Masterclass? Remember how they used to generally have talented people teaching actual skills?

Latest ads I've seen are a class by two "AI prompt experts" and one by Kim Kardashian. Outstanding.

Maybe instead of saying “6-7” kids should be saying “Civ 7” and encouraging each other to play a game that develops patience and a keen strategic mind. #Civ7

Seeing F1 and NFL sports posts and it’s making me think there should be more crossover.

The Ferrari car company should own an American football team and the city of Cincinnati should own an F1 car.

Bought a pair of RAM sticks for $100 last November through a combo deal on Newegg, bought another pair this May for about $20 more which may have just been the non-sale price. Now? $438.

Because every few years some component has to be needlessly expensive because of market speculation or some shit

Just one more licensed song bro, just one more. Just one more licensed song bro and our prestige TV show will feel culturally relevant and apiece with some of the most recognizable works of history, bro.

Randomly remembered that brief time when the Chris Evans Knives Out sweater was like the Drive jacket but for a different kind of guy.
