Thrilled to share our findings on LLM performance in drafting hospital discharge summaries at American Medical Informatics Association’s Clinical Informatics Conference in Anaheim. Turns out that physicians hallucinate just as much as LLMs!

Excited to share this JAMA Internal Medicine article that came out today comparing the quality of GPT-drafted hospital discharge summaries to physician-written ones. Bottom line: Both contain errors, but perform similarly on many metrics. tinyurl.com/44pdtvz2 Kudos to my MANY collaborators.
