As a lifelong Silver Surfer fan, I was initially not thrilled about the Shalla-Bal version featuring in the new movie.
However, as Norrin Radd remains available as the Earth 616 Surfer; I am hopeful that Marvel’s plan is to reveal him later in a more significant capacity.

Well, I took the family to see Superman and on the whole everyone enjoyed it including me.
David Corenswet makes a wonderful Superman, and a likeable Clark too.
In short - If I liked about 60% of Man of Steel (most of that being young Clark, and Henry), I liked more like 80% of Superman 2025.
Win!
