for all the shit that google is, afaik chromecast is the only viable option, but you can create a dedicated gmail burner account to try to keep google out of the rest of your life, just have to hold yr nose for an hour while you do the necessary #enshit

#windows you arrive home after travelling & think, i know i'll make it happy & restart, yes yes really, then once it's all dark power on, up comes a message, Your device ran into a problem and had to restart. er yeah, i know that :)
