I was thinking about when The Elder Scrolls VI might come out 😂, and I started thinking about deep time -- about how if I could wait a millennium, every game I'd ever possibly want to play would be released. Perhaps every game that will ever be made?

So yeah, don't think about Elder Scrolls VI 😁

Will intelligent beings still play Super Mario Bros. in 10,000 years, Tetris in 100,000, and Qzlxxtrapctis in 1 million?

Maybe the games will live on like echoes of an ancient digital age, imperfectly remembered but somehow deeply known; embedded in whatever DNA still lingers among our descendants.

For Thanksgiving in 2015, I set up 4-player MULE on the Atari 800 using our family’s 1983 TV set in the corner of my mom’s living room—

These are some hi-res photos I took for more glorious detail!

Thanksgiving commercialization idea: Every November 20, Thimas the Turkey brings orange and brown presents to good kids everywhere. But only if they leave offerings of fresh cranberries in a Thanksgiving boot
