…….As with all series, I enjoyed it, but found some aspects of the pack mentality and piling in on people, and the reward for deceit, at times difficult to watch. Great TV: entertaining, informative and educational. Lord Reith would be proud! 3/3

Thank you for the repost - and your wonderful film. A very classy piece of film-making, with some compelling creative choices in how you presented the story - I found it incredibly moving, despite being v v familiar with so much of it. Thank you for doing such a brilliant job with his story.

….Neither does the pride in the extraordinary leadership and compassion shown by Kenny/Marina. The psychological impact the experience had on Kenny/his whole family is impossible to measure. He would of course say it was nothing compared to what others went through, but it was far from nothing. YNWA

……But some of the footage (some of which I hadn’t seen in years) in the new film hit very hard. The desolate faces of the fans queuing outside Anfield. The angony in the eyes of those laying flowers, or scarfs, or leaving oranges. It feels like yesterday. It never goes away..….2/3

......we need the space to take our time to explore the whole person and their life - not just focus on their symptoms and “behaviours”. This is about feelings, not food.

……Just like during the pandemic, public policy decisions (which may have some merit) can also have significant unintended consequences on the most isolated and vulnerable. The world is not black and white - it is full of grey areas….3/4

…..come together and enjoy a sense of community. They have remained on high streets when community centres and social clubs have closed, offering connections, human interaction, support networks, and perhaps the only warm place and warm cuppa of the day for some.…2/4

…….It’s a complex story, but misogyny and ignorance in medicine and education plays a significant role here and so often stops girls and women from being seen and understood. 2/2
