Xbox achievements on PC, same ecosystem on PC, don't need Epic Game Store you can launch it from the Xbox App which is nice for handhelds like the Xbox Ally, playtime and other stats sync, etc.
Not a lot, just a bunch of little quality of life things that won't mean much to 99.9% of players.

People used to used to not buy games and rented to get the best value for their $. Like Game Pass now, except the games are never out of stock.

I think you're underestimating how much they would value a USA team vs. a Canada Team World Series in the current political climate.

I don't think this is what the average gaming consumer will remember this generation for. It'll most likely be remembered for Xbox making COD now and being able to play Xbox games on PlayStation.

A lot! Not for myself, but for people in countries where prices are out of control and they cannot afford to buy consoles or gaming PCs. They pay for Game Pass and only play via cloud, waiting in long queues to do so! It's access to games for many people that otherwise would have none.

I think the important part is every tier is improving and each person can decide which one fits their gaming needs and wallet best.
