This year was quite literally the worst performance by a Democratic Party mayoral candidate in NYC since 2009! Why is this being interpreted in the media as an enormous victory instead of a shocking, system wide repudiation of Mamdani's entire campaign? Did I have a lobotomy? What am I missing here?

What am I missing here??? I focused mainly on Virginia elections and didn't follow the NYC election. People are saying this is good? In what universe is this a good result for Democrats? 50.4 percent versus a sex pest and a funny hat guy?! In blue NYC??? Spanberger outperformed Mamdani by 7 points!

This is why Trump wanted TikTok. These are mostly or all bots by the way - I’ve seen a lot of these ads now and the comments are far too uniform. It’s all fake.
